MANILA, Philippines — Some lanes on C-5 Road and Edsa will be closed over the weekend to give way to repair and maintenance works, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said Friday.
DPWH said affected road lanes will be closed starting 11 p.m. on Friday (March 1) to 5 a.m. on Monday (March 4).
The affected areas include:
-Edsa southbound from Lagarian Creek to Ermin Garcia (2nd lane from the sidewalk.
-C-5 Road southbound after Lanuza Avenue before reaching Bagong Ilog Flyover and fronting SM Aura.
-Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard southbound going to Cubao, from Ramon Magsaysay Bridge to Pureza Street in Manila
The DPWH advised motorists to take alternate routes due to the expected traffic slow down in the affected areas.
