Police: No bomb threat in UE Caloocan campus

MANILA, Philippines—The Caloocan City Police denied Thursday afternoon reports that a bomb scare hit the University of the East (UE) Caloocan campus.

“Based on the coordination of our SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) with the UE Security, no such bomb scare,” Police Senior Superintendent Restituto Arcangel, Caloocan City Police chief, told INQUIRER.net in a text message.

Reports of a supposed bomb threat at the school circulated in social media Thursday noon.  /muf
