MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Quezon City and Valenzuela will experience water service interruption from March 4 to 7, Maynilad Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) announced Wednesday.

Maynilad said the service interruption is due to the temporary shutting down of its North C and Commonwealth pumping stations in QC for major repair works and maintenance facilities.

The concessionaire said it will also conduct the interconnection of newly installed water pipes in Barangay Commonwealth and Barangay Payatas in Quezon City.

The company also warned of possible delays in the resumption of the service due to several factors, including the area’s elevation, its distance from pumping stations, and the volume withdrawal from the main lines. /ee
