MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has released on its website the template of ballots to be used for the May 13 midterm elections.
In a Twitter post, Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said that the ballot faces for the National and Local Elections (NLE) are now available in its website.
“Hey. The ballot faces for #NLE2019 have been posted on the official @COMELEC website. #VoterEd Check it out,” he said.

The template shows the names of candidates vying for a seat in the Senate and House of Representatives, party-list groups seats, and local government candidates.
Election day will be held on May 13 starting from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
This year’s election will be automated. Voters would then have to shade the circle beside the name of the candidate they prefer.
The shading threshold for the upcoming elections is 25 percent. This means that counting machines will only count the vote if a quarter of the oval was shaded. /je
