MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in Pasay City on Friday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
According to Fire Officer 1 Reiner Bolorota, the blaze started in Mulawin St. Brgy. 187 Maricaban, Pasay City at 12:40 p.m.
The fire quickly reached the second alarm in a few minutes.
The BFP declared the fire to be under control at 1:39 p.m. It was extinguished 22 minutes later.
Arson probers are still investigating the incident. /muf
