Fire hits store in Cainta vacant lot

MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit a sari-sari (variety) store at a vacant lot along Felix Avenue in Cainta, Rizal on Friday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Sr. Fire Inspector Ericson Malamug, Cainta Fire Station ground commander said the fire struck the store  at about 9:00 a.m.  The store, said Malamug, was made of light materials.

The fire reached first alarm at 9:15 a.m. The BFP said the fire was declared out by 9:35 a.m. /muf
