MANILA, Philippines — The management of Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) line has clarified that some liquid items will still be permitted inside its train stations and trains.
The LRT-1 line management clarified that infant formula and medicines are exempted from the ban that covers bottled water and other liquids.
“Aming pinahihintulutan ang pagdadala ng breastmilk bags, feeding bottles, medicines, alcohol at perfume basta ito ay dumaan sa security check,” the LRT-1 management said in a tweet on Friday.

The management also reminded commuters: “If you have drinks stored in a tumbler, please finish the drink before going to the station.”

Meanwhile, the managements of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) and LRT-2 said they have already lifted their respective bans on bottled water and other liquids in all of their stations.
