Gunmen kill drug surrenderer in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY — A 34-year old drug surrenderer was shot to death while his companion managed to escape when they were attacked by unidentified gunmen in Bayambang, Pangasinan on Wednesday, police said.

Killed was Christopher Agbuya, an onion dealer from Barangay Hermosa in Bayambang.

His companion, Jeffrey Camorongan, 37, a farmer and a resident of the same village, was unhurt.

Police said Agbuya and Camorongan were aboard a motorcycle along Pangdel-Tatarac road, also in Bayambang, when they were shot by the suspects at 8:50 p.m.

Agbuya suffered bullet wounds and was taken to the Bayambang District Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
