Earthquake shakes Kalinga town
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.8 earthquake shook Kalinga province Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its initial earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake struck 11 kilometers northwest of the municipality of Rizal at 3:09 p.m.
The earthquake was of tectonic origin had a depth of three kilometers.
Phivolcs is not expecting any damage as a result of the earthquake. / gsg
