Police investigation showed that the Yaos just came from Mass with fellow members of the Bukas Loob sa Diyos, a Catholic charismatic group.

They were about to leave the church compound on their white vehicle past 8:30 p.m. when a gunman in a black ball cap, mask and black jacket, appeared outside the driver’s seat, and shot them, Abalayan said.

The gunman was on a motorcycle driven by another person wearing a jacket and a red helmet, he said.

The couple was rushed to the Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital but Alex was declared dead on arrival about 9:30 p.m. /cbb
