6,000 attend Hugpong campaign caravan in Isabela

SANTIAGO CITY, Philippines — Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and her Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) party continued their campaign caravan in this city on Tuesday after courting voters in Ilocos on Monday.

Carpio, HNP’s founder and campaign manager, arrived here on Tuesday morning from Laoag City, riding her big bike.

The province of Isabela is more than 400 kilometers away from the capital city of Ilocos Norte.

FEATURED STORIES

The HNP rally, which was held at the Four-Lanes Terminal in Barangay Malvar here, drew some 6,000 people.

Present during the rally here were former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino, Maguindanao Rep. Zajin Mangudadatu, and former journalist Jiggy Manicad.
