MMDA bares traffic plan for Catriona Gray homecoming parade
MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Monday that a stop-and-go traffic scheme would be implemented on roads covered by the homecoming parade of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray on Thursday, February 21 in parts of Pasay, Makati and Manila.
A stop-and-go scheme means that vehicles will be halted for some time to give way to the parade.
The MMDA said that more than 200 traffic constables would be deployed during the parade that is scheduled to lock off at 2 p.m.
Illegally parked vehicles and obstructions along the route will also be cleared ahead of the parade.
