Pagasa sees light rain all over

MANILA, Philippines – Huge portion of the country will experience light rains on Monday due to the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan, the weather bureau said.

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga,Davao, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Pagasa added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to northeast monsoon.

Despite this, the weather noted that no flashfloods or landslides could be expected as an effect of the monsoon. /cbb
