DID YOU KNOW: 533 illegal aliens arrested in 2018

According to the Bureau of Immigration, it arrested 533 foreigners in the country last year as part of its intensified campaign against illegal aliens.

Chinese nationals topped the list at 393, followed by 52 Koreans, 12 Americans and several Africans.

The figure does not include the more than 200 foreign fugitives apprehended by the bureau. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
