LOOK: PMAers parading for 2019 alumni homecoming
BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The alumni of different classes of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) paraded on Borromeo Field of Fort Gregorio del Pilar here for their homecoming on Saturday.
Active police and military officers and retired alumni who now hold government posts led the way for their batches – among them Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana (1973) and Interior Secretary Eduardo Año (1983), and Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. (1985), presidential peace adviser.
Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu, a former chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and homecoming guest speaker, marched to inspect the cadets of various classes standing in formation.
Also present during the parade are Director General Oscar Albayalde (1986), chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr. (1985), current AFP chief; Director Guillermo Eleazar (1987), chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Among the retired officers who attended was former Sen. Rodolfo Biazon (1961), a former AFP chief.

Article continues after this advertisementBefore the event started, eight paratroopers from the PNP’s Skydiving Team parachuted down to the Borromeo Field to display their skill.
They were congratulated by Albayalde — himself a former paratrooper — after they made a successful landing. /atm
