Survey result inspires me to reach out to more Filipinos – Bam

MANILA, Philippines – Reelectionist Senator Bam Aquino on Friday said the latest Pulse Asia senatorial survey would serve as an “inspiration” to “reach out” to more Filipinos during the campaign season.

Aquino, running under the  Otso Diretso opposition coalition, landed in the 10th to 15th spot with a 38.5 percent voter preference in the Pulse Asia survey conducted from January 26 to 31 and released Friday.

“Magsisilbi itong napakalaking inspirasyon sa ating pag-iikot at pag-abot sa ating mga kababayan upang maipaalam sa kanila ang ating nagawa at patuloy pang gagawin sa Senado para sa kanilang kapakanan,” the incumbent lawmaker said in a statement.

Only Aquino and former Sen. Mar Roxas from the Otso Diretso slate have been doing well in recent pre-election surveys.

In the recent Pulse Asia survey, Roxas landed in the seventh to 14th spot with 41.8 percent voter preference, while reelectionist Senator Grace Poe maintained the top spot.
