/ 05:16 AM February 15, 2019

The family of 38-year-old Rodel Canada, who was killed on Feb. 8 in a hit-and-run, has pleaded with the driver involved in the accident to give himself up to the Quezon City police.

In a statement released by the police, Canada’s family said they hoped the driver would be “bothered by his conscience” into surrendering so that they would have closure.

Canada died around 12:15 a.m. on A. Bonifacio Avenue. He had been riding on his motorcycle when he lost his balance and fell over. An unknown vehicle then ran over him, killing him instantly.

Quezon City police director, Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel Jr., said that anyone who could provide information on the accident should call 9243111, 9217474 or 0917-5665488.
