DOTr launches 2 free shuttle service routes to, from PITX
MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Thursday launched free shuttle services between the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and two destinations within Metro Manila.
The DOTr’s “Serbus” project on will deploy three air-conditioned bus units each from Mondays to Fridays (6 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.) for the following routes:
- Lawton – Baclaran – PITX, and vice-versa
- Monumento – EDSA – Baclaran – PITX, and vice-versa.
For the Monumento – EDSA – Baclaran – PITX route, there will be designated stops in Muñoz, Paramount, Trinoma, Ortigas, Guadalupe, Ayala and Pasay.
The project is a joint initiative of the DOTr, Junior Chamber International Senate Philippines (JCISP) and Megawide Corporation Foundation, Inc.
Aside from the Serbus project, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) are also providing free shuttle services from SM Mall of Asia to PITX from Mondays to Fridays, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. / gsg
