American wanted for rape in US nabbed in Lucena

LUCENA CITY – Operatives from Lucena police and Bureau of Immigration-Fugitive Search Unit arrested an American national, who was wanted for rape in the United States, on Wednesday night, police said.

Authorities arrested Adrian Dean Eddings II, 44, in his hiding place in Barangay (village) Gulang-Gulang around 8:30 p.m., Supt. Reydante Ariza, Lucena police chief, said in a report.

Eddings, from Cleveland, Oklahoma City, was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by the Fourteenth Judicial District of Oklahoma City dated January 22, 2019.

The suspect is facing charges for the crime of rape-first degree. No bail is recommended for his temporary liberty.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Bureau of Immigration in Manila. /lzb
