Tabang Sugbo to feed Badjao kids

TABANG Sugbo Karon Inc., a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization, will hold again a feeding program and gift giving in sitio Alaska, barangay Mambaling, Cebu City today, Dec. 10.

Around 500 Badjaos are targeted to benefit from the activity.

Tabang Sugbo has tied up with Metro Gaisano, Gerry’s Grill, Pizza Pedricos, Mactan Rock Industries, SJEJE Enterprise Inc., Youthopia Media Phils Inc., and Feed The Children Phils. to provide breakfast and lunch, entertainment, toys and noche buena food items to the beneficiaries to make their Christmas meaningful.

Last Sept. 17, Tabang Sugbo partnered with Jollibee’s “Piso Piso para sa Batang Sugbo” and treated 200 Badjao children to Jollibee goodies.

The children also received free medical checkup from Cebu City Medical Center and bundles of clothings from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

At present, Tabang Sugbo is working on various fund-raising activities to provide scholarship to deserving students.
