CONCEPCION, TARLAC — Police here shot dead an alleged drug pusher after engaging them in a gunfight during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday.
Jay Martin alias “Jay Masiclat,” a resident of Barangay Balanoz in La Paz town, fired at the policemen after sensing he was transacting with an undercover agent about 4:45 a.m. in Barangay Alfonso here, police said.
Martin was included in the police’s drugs watch list, said Supt. Redentor Ulzano, Concepcion police chief.
Police recovered five sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and a .38-caliber revolver from the slain suspect. Maria Adelaida Calayag /lzb
