MANILA, Philippines — A Chinese man was arrested last Saturday for creating a public scandal at a restaurant in Muntinlupa City.

A police report from Muntinlupa City police released Tuesday revealed that the suspect, identified as Qi Xhao, 24, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. at a restaurant in Brgy. Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Initial investigation revealed that the Chinese man was having a heated altercation with another unidentified man until they were pacified by the restaurant’s staff.

When the other man left,  the suspect was still furious, throwing things inside the restaurant, injuring some of the customers.

A police officer patrolling the area immediately responded to the incident and arrested Qi.

Police said they have already filed a case of alarm and scandal against the suspect but the injured victims did not file charges against the Chinese man. /je
