Tricycle driver shot dead in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines — A tricycle driver was shot dead by an unidentified suspect in Parañaque City on Monday morning, the police reported Tuesday.

A report from Parañaque Police said the victim, identified as Ryan Lope, 38, was shot in front of a welding shop at San Dionisio, Parañaque, at around 8:30 a.m.


Initial investigation revealed that Lope was standing beside his tricycle which was being repaired when an unknown suspect approached him and shot him on his head.

The incident was witnessed by a certain Jerry Manibal who was repairing Lope’s tricycle.


The police said the suspect is still at large. /je
