Mocha Uson launches party-list bid in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN — Former Assistant Communications Secretary Mocha Uson on Tuesday hit the campaign trail, kicking off her party-list bid in this capital town of vote-rich Pangasinan, her home province.

Uson, who was guest at a regional transportation summit here, gamely sang and danced with some transport operators before she spoke.

She later had group photos with other participants and handed out t-shirts.

“I was invited here because I’m from Pangasinan. And yes, It was like I launched my campaign here because today is the official start of the campaign [period],” said Uson, the first nominee of AA Kasosyo Partylist.

Pangasinan has about 1.8 million voters, the country’s third biggest./lzb
