CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA – The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) in Cagayan Valley seized more than 500 kilograms of “unsafe, unclean and non-inspected” poultry and frozen meat here.

Rolando Ongsotto, director of NMIS-Cagayan Valley, on Monday said they also seized tainted meat in Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Tuguegarao City and other public markets in the region in a series of operations since last week.
