MANILA, Philippines – The Calabarzon police condemned on Sunday “CPP NPA Terrorists” (CNTs) for burning four heavy equipment used for the Kaliwa Dam project in Infanta, Quezon.
About 15 CNTs burned three backhoes and one bulldozer on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, in Sitio Queborosa, Barangay Magsaysay, at 6:30 a.m., said Chief Supt. Edward Carranza, director of the Region 4A police office (PRO4A).
CPP NPA Terrorists stand for Communist Party of the Philippines New People’s Army Terrorists, the PRO4A said.
The heavy equipment owned by Northern Builders Corporation were being used for road-widening work for the Kaliwa Dam project, according to Chief Inspector Lowell Atienza, Infanta police director.
“Nakikipagtulungan na ang PRO4A sa Armed Forces para mahuli ang may pakana sa insidenteng ito,” Carranza said.
