Valenzuela City cop nabbed for firing gun in Bulacan neighborhood

BALAGTAS, Bulacan — A policeman assigned at the Northern Police District in Valenzuela City was arrested for firing indiscriminately at his home in Barangay (village) Santol here on Friday (Feb. 8).

Responding Bulacan police officers disarmed PO1 Arwin Bornel, 31, who has yet to explain why he discharged his weapon, said Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director

Seized from Bornel were a cal. 45 handgun, two magazines, and two spent shells.
