MANILA, Philippines – A fire broke out in a residential area in Tondo, Manila Friday morning, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported.
The blaze alomg New Antipolo Street, Barangay 217 started at around 8:00 a.m. and was declared under control around 8:31 a.m.
Estimated damage to property was pegged at P50,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. / gsg
