High school student dead in Dagupan road crash
DAGUPAN CITY — A senior high school student was killed while his companion was injured after their motorcycle crashed into a passenger bus here on Thursday night, police said.
Joshua Quidez, 17, a Grade 12 student of the Dagupan City High School, died while he was being taken to the Region 1 Medical Center here.
His back rider, Ralph Orlino, 27, survived the crash.

Police said Quidez’s motorcycle was traversing the southbound lane of Arellano St. here about 11:30 p.m. when it suddenly slammed into the middle portion of the bus’ left side.
Quidez and Orlino, who were thrown under the bus, were run over by the bus’ rear wheels. The bus driver, Manny Gomez, is now under police custody. Gabriel Cardinoza/lzb
