North Cotabato town official slain in gun attack
KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines – Unidentified gunman shot to death Tuesday night the town council secretary of Pres. Roxas, North Cotabato, police said.
Robert Herbilla, 43, Sangguniang Bayan secretary, was watching TV inside his house at 8 p.m. when four men arrived on two separate motorbikes.
One of the four suspects barged in and opened fire on Herbilla who was seated in the sala, according to Chief Inspector Rolly Oranza, town police chief.

Herbilla was arrested last December for possession of illegal drugs. He was out on bail.
The motive of the attack remained unknown. /cbb
