Pagasa: Light rains due over extreme Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – The northeast monsoon or “amihan” is expected to bring isolated rain showers over extreme Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

Light to moderate rains are expected over the Babuyan Islands and Batanes, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Visayas and Palawan will experience party cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, Pagasa added.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies are expected over Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan, while cloudy to partly cloudy skies will prevail in Metro Manila. / gsg
