Convoy arrives at VMMC but Arroyo spokesman says it decoy

MANILA, Philippines — A convoy from the St. Luke’s Medical Center has arrived at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center at around 10:40 a.m.

But Elena Butista-Horn, spokesperson for former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, told a press conference at St. Luke’s that that the convoy was a decoy.

affInformation, however, on whether Arroyo was inside one of the vehicles were still unconfirmed as other reports also said that helicopters were seen circling the private hospital in Taguig earlier.

People stepped out of their  vehicles to catch a vuw of but the former president did not seem to be one of the vehicles’ passengers.
