President Duterte has appointed retired Chief Supt. Gilbert Sosa as assistant secretary in the Office of the President (OP).
Duterte signed Sosa’s appointment paper on Jan. 29.
Sosa retired from the police service in August 2018.
The President also nominated former Manila lawmaker Ramon Bagatsing Jr. as ambassador to India and Noe Wong, a former ambassador to Cambodia, as ambassador to South Korea. —JULIE M. AURELIO
