MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in Marikina City on Thursday evening, the Bureau of Fire Protection reported.
According to Fire Officer 1 Jeffrey Regulto, the first alarm was raised in a residential area in Upo St., Barangay Tumana in Marikina City at 8:34 p.m.
The fire reached second alarm after four minutes and was declared under control at 8:57 p.m. The blaze was extinguished at 9:04 p.m.
As of posting, authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire and the damage. /ee
