Isabela farmer nabbed for illegal possession of firearms

DELFIN ALBANO, ISABELA — Police arrested a 40-year-old farmer for illegal possession of firearms during the “Oplan Paglalansag Omega/Salikop” operation in Calinaoan Sur village here on Thursday. ‘

Senior Insp. Frances Littaua, Isabela police spokesperson, identified the suspect as Arlito Agron.


Seized from Agron were two .38-caliber revolvers, a hand grenade, ammunition, a bolo and three camouflage pants.

The suspect is facing charges for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and for violation of the Omnibus Election Code.  /ee
