Monsour del Rosario turns emotional after meeting beneficiaries

MANILA, Philippines – During the pilot episode of the “adVice Ko Si Monsour” on Radyo Inquirer 990AM and Inquirer 990TV, two recent beneficiaries of aid given by 1st District Makati Congressman Monsour del Rosario got to thank him personally on the program.

Tana Mendoza-Juan of Brgy. Carmona suffers from kidney ailments, while Aling Elizabeth Asildo receives treatment for diabetes.

Del Rosario, who is running for Makati Vice Mayor this year, quickly recognized Tana who he had communicated with him on Social Media. Del Rosario is known for personally checking on the welfare of the people he has helped, following up on their progress.

Tana described the manner in which her life was saved because of del Rosario’s continuous support, particularly for dialysis treatments leading to an eventual kidney transplant.

At this point Monsour showed visible emotion, saying that he empathized with the people who need his help because, at one point in the past, he himself went through similar challenges.

The congressman also said that this drives him to render even better service to his constituents, such as in the case with Tana and Aling Elizabeth.

He clarified that he does not choose who to help, whether they be political friend or foe. All that is required is for applicants to submit complete requirements for orderly and genuine public service.

The “adVice Ko Si Monsour” program can be watched or listened to on Radyo Inquirer 990AM and Inquirer 990TV on digibox every Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
