Magnitude 3.5 quake hits Isabela
MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 3.5 earthquake rocked Isabela province Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its initial earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs reported that the earthquake was traced 24 kilometers (km) east of Divilacan, Isabela at 3:01 p.m.
The earthquake was of tectonic origin and had a depth of 31 km.
No aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs said. /gsg
