ORION, BATAAN—A fire razed more than 600 houses made of light materials in Sitio Depensa in Barangay Capunitan here on Tuesday morning.
Chief Insp. Dennis Orbista, Orion police chief, said they were still confirming reports that at least two persons were missing in the blaze.
Investigators said the fire was still raging at 12 noon, prompting fire fighters from the neighboring towns of Limay, Mariveles, Pilar and Balanga City to help put the fire out.
Fire officials have yet to determine the cause of the fire that was put out past 12 noon.
