Fire engulfs truck along Makati highway

MANILA, Philippines — An 18-wheeler truck suddenly burst into flames while traversing along the highway in Makati City, a report from the Southern Police District (SPD) disclosed Saturday.

According to the report, the truck was engulfed by fire along the northbound section of Osmena Highway at the Buendia flyover in Makati City at 11:05 p.m. of Thursday.

The blaze was contained at 12:06 a.m. Friday

No person was reported injured from the incident. /jpv
