MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday announced that portions of Roxas Boulevard would be closed at certain hours of Sunday to give way to two events.
The MMDA said the south-bound section of Roxas Boulevard from T.M. Kalaw to President Quirino Avenue would be closed to motorists from 5 a.m.to 9 a.m. for the launching of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Project.
Meanwhile, the north-bound section from P. Burgos to V. Sotto will be closed from 3 p.m. onwards for the 40th Fiesta Del Sto. Nino.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
Motorists coming from A. Bonifacio Drive or R-10 may turn left at P. Burgos Avenue or T.M. Kalaw and turn right at M.H. Del Pilar or Taft Avenue. /gsg
