MANILA, Philippines — All certificates of canvass (COCs) for the Jan. 21 Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) plebiscite are now with the National Board of Canvassers after the last COC from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) arrived before Friday noon..
The ballot box from the Regional Plebiscite Board of Canvassers in ARMM was delivered at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) headquarters in Intramuros, Manila at 11:32 a.m.
Inside the ballot box was the envelope containing the COC from the said region and the statement of votes by province.
The BOL plebiscite for the ARMM were held in the provinces of Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez on Thursday said two ARMM provinces had high voter turnouts.
In a Twitter post, Jimenez said Maguindanao had a voter turnout of 93.35 percent, followed by Lanao del Sur with a voter turnout of 92.56 percent. /muf
