MANILA, Philippines – Fire struck the Balara Elementary School in Baramgay Pansol, Quezon City on Wednesday afternoon, the city fire department reported.
According to Fire Officer 1 Emmanuel Walat, the fire broke out at 1:42 p.m. and was declared under control at 1:57 p.m.
The conflagration was fully extinguished at 2:23 p.m.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the blaze and the extent of the damage. /gsg
