PCSO: P426M worth of jackpot won over the week

MANILA, Philippines — Nearly half a billion pesos or P426,549,073 in jackpot prizes were given away in just a week, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Alexander Ferrer Balutan said on Tuesday.

Six bettors shared the almost half a billion prize, with two winners from Ultra Lotto 6/58, two from Lotto 6/52, one from Super Lotto 6/49 and one from Grand Lotto 6/55.

Balutan said the biggest jackpot hit this week was the Grand Lotto 6/55 winner from Cebu, with the lucky bettor taking home over P239 million.

Last Sunday, a lone winner from Bacolod took home the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot prize of P58 million.

On January 15, a lucky bettor from Sampaloc, Manila, won the Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize of over P48 million.

A bettor from Novaliches, Quezon City, guessed all six numbers for the jackpot prize of over P48 million of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw on January 18.

A lucky winner from Panabo City, Davao del Norte, won over P5 million jackpot prize of the Lotto 6/42 draw on January 19.

And on January 20, a bettor from Marikina City hit the jackpot of the Super Lotto 6/49 with prize amounting to over P25 million.

“Gaya ng lagi kong paalala sa mga nananalo, use your money wisely. Huwag maging one-day millionaire. Save for your future. Invest,” Balutan reminded the public in a statement. /cbb
