SC resets oral argument on 3rd martial law extension

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has rescheduled the hearing questioning the legality of the third martial law extension in Mindanao with the filing of more petitions against it.

From Jan. 22, oral argument has been rescheduled to Jan. 29.

The separate petitions against the third martial law extension were filed by members of the “Magnificent 7” in congress led by Albay 1st District Representative Edcel Lagman; the Makabayan bloc, also from Congress; and constitutionalist Christian Monsod. /je
