Flights canceled due to 'Amang'

MANILA, Philippines – Local flights were canceled on Monday due to Tropical Depression “Amang,” the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said.

In an advisory, the Miaa said the following domestic flights were canceled due to bad weather:

According to the weather bureau, Amang was packing maximum sustained winds of up to 45 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 60 kph.

It was moving towards the Leyte-Samar area at 10 kph.

Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 1 is still raised in several areas in the Visayas and Mindanao. /cbb
