MANILA, Philippines—An Indian moneylender was gunned down Wednesday by two still caliber motorcycle-riding men in Isabela province, police said Thursday.

Police Officer 1 Mario Adellera, a Santiago City police investigator said the victim, Shander Subhas, 37, was collecting payment in front of Mila Saranillas’ Store when he was shot several times in the back by the men, who were on board a motorcycle.

Adellera said that Subhas was a resident of Purok 3, Barangay (village) Rosario in Santiago City.
