Dragons snap three-game slump
THE SUPPORTSAVE Dragons ended a three-game losing skiD and logged their first win in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball, edging out the JP Morgan Chase and Co. Bankers, 64-62, last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
Edmon Paradiang finished with 20 points, three rebounds and two assists to lead the Dragons’ breakthrough win while dealing the Bankers their second loss in three games.
Petronillo Blanco and Jonathan Zaragosa both scored 17 points each, while Ruiz added 15 for the Bankers.
The defending champions Teletech Titans, meanwhile, secured their second straight win by trashing the Wipro Wildcats, 69-54.
Lourenz Limpangog and Christian Rez tallied 17 markers apiece, Angelo Galicia donated 11 for the Titans.
Raymond San Juan scored 16 points, Reinario Salibay had 11 for the Wildcats, who absorbed their second loss in three outings.
