MANILA, Philippines — A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Davao Oriental Monday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake was located 175 kilometers (km) southeast of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental at 4:50 p.m.
The earthquake, of tectonic origin, had a depth of 2 km.
Phivolcs added that no aftershocks and damage could be expected from the earthquake.
