Today, Jan. 14, is the 120th birth anniversary of Carlos P. Romulo, the first Asian to become United Nations General Assembly president.
Also a Pulitzer-winning journalist, he was named National Artist for Literature in 1982.
Romulo wrote and published 18 books, including a novel, “The United,” and an autobiography, “I Walked with Heroes.”
