Kia Picanto up for grabs in Alta Vista Fun Golf

EXCITING prizes await any golfer who can score a hole-in-one in this weekend’s Alta Vista Golf and Country Club’s (AVGCC) Christmas Fun Golf.

The Fun Golf committee has designated holes No. 2 to 13 as fun holes.

A Kia Picanto will be up for grabs in hole No. 8, while three prizes could be had on hole No. 15. Sta. Lucia Realty and Dev. Corp. is giving a residential lot, Marco Polo is arranging for a hotel accommodation while Maris Royal Holidays Travel and Tours will be giving out a travel ticket.

AVGCC is also giving P100,000 to anyone who could score a hole-in-one on holes No.2 to 13. Club Car is giving away a golf cart for hole no. 8 while a Skygo motorcycle is at stake for anyone who can score an eagle in any of the par-4 holes.

Bet coupons worth P300,000 and P100,000 are at stake in all par-3 holes. Norkis Trading Company is also giving away a motorcycle in any of the par-3 holes.

The Fun Golf is a two-day tournament with the participant only playing one round in a stroke play format. It is not only open to members but guests as well with registration fee of P2,700.

Classes for members are A, B, C for men. There will also be a seniors class, super seniors class and a ladies division.

Guests will have to be invited to play in the tournament and will contest in the open category.

A specially-made AVGCC belt, shirt, cap, mug and towel will be given away to all participants. If more than one will win the same prize, it will be equally shared.  /CORRESPONDENT Mars G. Alison
